Momentum is the Soul Survivor event for students and 20 somethings and like at Soul Survivor we spend a bit of time gathering just the girls together to get to grips with some of the topics that affect us as women.
Momentum 2009 is happening from Saturday 22nd – Wednesday 26th August – we hope to see you there!
This year at Momentum Ali Martin (Soul Sista host) was joined by Jo Saxton, Ness Wilson and Rachel Hughes to tackle three topics we think are pretty important in this life stage: finding real freedom, real life and real rest.
The talks were based around three women in the Bible who encountered their loving Saviour and had their lives turned around as a result.
These women are pretty easy to relate to – they had jobs to do, crippling health problems and mistakes of the past to contend with. But God was ready, willing and able to meet them where they were and to give them life in its fullness and the great news is that he wants to do the same for us.
